As a school board member, she hopes to support the school’s strategic growth, strengthen community partnerships, and ensure that its mission of “Preparing every student for tomorrow by nurturing the love of learning today” continues to thrive. She hopes to be a wise steward of Oak Hill’s 60+ year legacy while preparing the school for the future. Amanda brings extensive experience and skills that make her a strong candidate for our School Board. She brings expertise in Montessori elementary pedagogy, classroom experience, and Oak Hill staff insight. She has demonstrated  experience in connecting and collaborating with others who brought different experiences, expertise, and opinions. She will apply those skills in discussions and decisions with the various stakeholders at OHMCS.

Erin Doan

Erin previously served as OHMCS’s Executive Director from 2016-2023, and has been a long-time Oak Hill Montessori community member (over 20 years!). Among her many accomplishments during her tenure, the most impactful will be the successful transition of taking Oak Hill from a private school to a public charter school model, opening access to Montessori education to many more families. Erin currently serves as the Director of Educator Preparation and Pathways at the MN Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB).

As an innovator in the education industry, she has led teams of dedicated educators and staff who share a vision of providing accessible, holistic, and individualized learning environments. Her core competencies include nonprofit management, budget management, fundraising, strategic planning, teaching and learning, curriculum design, teacher training, recruitment, retention, and human resources. She holds an Ed.M. in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education, where she gained valuable insights into the cognitive, emotional, and social development of learners.

Mike McCall

I am a current board member and chair the board’s Governance Committee. I was fortunate enough to be elected to the board last year and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to continue serving. My time on the board has been incredibly rewarding, and that is particularly true with respect to my role as chair of the Governance Committee. The work aligns with my professional life as an attorney, but most importantly it deepens my family’s connection to Oak Hill and its community of students, parents, and staff.

Speaking of family, I live in Roseville with my wife, Nicole and sons John and Brian.  John attends Oak Hill as a Kindergartener.  Brian was just born in April, but he will be a Montessorian soon enough!

Thank you for the opportunity to serve Oak Hill thus far, and I would be grateful for the opportunity to continue to do so.
