Oak Hill Montessori Community School Lead-in-Water Testing Notice 

Oak Hill Montessori Community School (OHMCS) is committed to providing a safe and healthful learning and work environment for all of our students and staff. In accordance with Minnesota Statute 121A.335, the Minnesota Department of Health and the Minnesota Department of Education, OHMCS has implemented its Drinking Water Lead Testing Plan.

OHMCS performs lead-in-water testing at least every five years. The testing reports for individual schools are available on the OHMCS website at ohmcs.org/lead-testing. Testing Results (May 2025)

Remediation:

  • A “Do not use for drinking” sign was placed near/on any faucet with lead >5 ppb.
  • The aerator was cleaned on any sink faucet with lead detection of any level.
  • A NSF 53 certified water filter has been placed in any sink faucet with lead detection of any level.

All Oak Hill families will be notified annually in the Parent/Student Handbook on how they can find information on the school’s Lead Testing procedures and follow-up.
