The OHMCS Board has retained Dave Conrad to serve as the Interim Executive Director. Dave has worked previously with OHMCS behalf of our authorizer, MOCHA, and has extensive leadership experience in both Charter Schools and Montessori. Dave welcomes open communication with the entire OHMCS community.
We are confident in Dave’s ability to lead our organization as we quickly begin our search for a permanent Executive Director.
Dave’s Bio
Dave Conrad has served as a public educator for more than 42 years, as a teacher and school administrator in both traditional and charter public schools in Florida and Minnesota. He was Founding Director of New Century Academy (2002), and New Discoveries Montessori Academy (2006) in Hutchinson, Minnesota. After retiring in June of 2022, he assumed the role of
Interim Executive Director to assist in the opening of Creekstone Montessori School in Red Wing, Minnesota. Dave currently consults for organizations and public schools, specializing in human resources, leadership development, strategic planning, and professional development. Dave is a (MN) licensed Teacher, Principal and Superintendent.
