———————————————————————————————————————————————
Oak Hill Montessori Community School’s nutrition program partners with food vendor CKC Good Food. They develop our breakfast and lunch menus, which strictly abide by MDE and USDA nutritional guidelines.
Kindergarten – 8th Grade
OHMCS participates in the National School Lunch Program in order to provide free breakfast and lunch to all K-8 students via the MN Free School Meals Program. All meals include fruit and vegetable of the day and a carton of 1% white or skim chocolate milk.
For students bringing their lunch from home, a la carte milk cartons are available for purchase (in Boonli) for $0.50 each.
Toddler and Pre-K
Lunch is available for purchase for $4.50 each. These meals include a fruit and vegetable each day.
Per DHS requirements, (dairy and non-dairy) milk is served to all Toddler, Pre-K and Kindergarten students regardless of if they have purchased school lunch or brought a lunch from home.
Breakfast is not available to Toddler and Preschool students. However, two snacks a day are served in the classroom as a part of tuition.
Ordering
Breakfast and lunch orders must be placed in advance and families may choose which days they would like to participate. Orders can be placed in our online ordering platform, Boonli. Menus will be available around the 12th of each month for the following month. Orders for the following month need to be placed by the 20th (or the following business day if it falls on a weekend or holiday). Email and text reminders will be sent out each month and due dates are listed on the all school calendar.
Food allergy information
To accommodate food allergies, CKC offers allergen-free meals (free of dairy, gluten, eggs, soy, fish, shellfish, sesame, peanuts, tree nuts, and sunflower). To qualify for allergen free meals, students need to submit a Special Diet Statement, signed by a doctor.
