The laughter. The energy. The happiness. Even with masks for older students/staff, using extra classrooms for more spacing between children and other new safety precautions in place, the first day of school is an exciting and fantastic time!
A trio of Lower Elementary students took to the kitchen to prepare birthday treats for the rest of their class. Thanks to Joan for leading today’s learning opportunities through the culinary world.
Junior High students engaged in a discussion about aquaponics with Cece from the Spark-y organization. Our 7th & 8th graders will be participating in a challenge to design the new aquaponics system for the greenhouse, which will be installed this March.
From exploring the history of numbers to spending time learning about/playing with a 4-legged visitor to the classroom Franny, Lower Elementary students have had a fantastic end of 2019 & exciting beginning to 2020!
